Larue County School School Resource Officer
SRO Mission
The School Resource Officer Program is a collaborative effort by certified law enforcement officers, school administrators, educators, students, parents, the court system, and the community to offer law related educational programs in the school in an effort to reduce crime, drug abuse, and violence. The program will focus on preventing juvenile delinquency, maintaining a safe school environment, and providing a positive law enforcement presence in the school community.

Sergeant Kevin Bennett SRO Level III
SGT Bennett has been the SRO at Larue County Schools since May 2020. He has is currently the SRO supervisor and has done a wonderful job building the SRO Program into what we see today!
Recruit Officer Jonathan Hughes
Recruit Officer Hughes was hired in October, 2024 to become the newest Officer at HPD. He was assigned as the second full time SRO for Larue County Schools.
